As a recently deferred on nav &amp; night nav(oh, the shame, the shame...) ML Assessment candidate, I thought it might be useful to firstly let you know what an important part of the assessment 'nav' is!

Secondly, there's only one way to 'crack' it, &amp; that's to put the practise in, particularly in gnarly weather conditions........

I'm busy sending off info to Paul Platt, doin the Home Research Paper &amp; startin to prepare a presentation on the 'CROW' Act (thanks for that, Paul.....)
Also trying to get out to hone (or get to grips with)those nav &amp; rope skills, while not picking up any more niggling injuries.
Paul Redman &amp; I are both arriving at Coniston on Saturday, 3rd March for a gentle day on nearby Fells &amp; staying at YH Saturday night.
